So we've been starving Sophia, and she has resorted to eating rocks.
Sidota has been put to work, mowing the lawn. And before you criticize us, notice that he is wearing hearing protection. Really though, the mower isn't on, gosh.
Sid and Sophia love to spend time on the counter helping us with all sorts of stuff. I'm pretty sure that Sophia is hoping she doesn't have to eat all that zucchini.
We were trying to get Sid to show you "the nose", when he crinkles his nose at you. When he wouldn't do it, we asked him to smile. Again, that smile on command thing not working yet.

After deciding to dip Alfredo noodles into some of Korri's strawberry banana smoothie, Sid finds out it was not the best culinary idea -- but what can he do, he loves to dip! Then he wonders if she will really make him eat it all gone.
For the second haircut, we took some off the top as well. He sits there so nicely without complaining, but after seeing this pic, I can see the trust isn't totally there yet.
Our first day out of the house as a family. We went into Boise to see many of our closest friends finish a half marathon. In the photo are Anna (daughter of Travis and Wende Tindall) and Allison (spelling? daughter of Blake and Janna Wolf). They did a great job of playing with Sid and he seemed very comfortable with them, it was great to watch.
Sid would run around a nearby tree, with a few of the kids in tow. Also in this one is our 3 yr-old cousin Bryce (Sid says Be-rice), son of Josh and Kelli Kinney.
We got many of the kids together for this shot. Sid, Allison, Anna, Bryce, Aiden (Bryce's brother), and Sophia in front trying to get away.
I haven't blogged since at least Wednesday. On Wed, Thur, and Fri, I had coaching duties at Skyview, and by the time I got home was sort of tired. I also think I got a bit blogged out. Some highlights that we've seen; 1) our 1 month anniversary, which means we can take the kids out in public. What was the big first occasion? A vegetable stand our in the middle of nowhere, 2) Sid, known around our house as sort of a wimp, had a fingernail that had died as a result of getting caught in a door. It was just about off, but still attached at the bottom. I tried to nicely get it off with pliers, but couldn't. He then just ripped it off and chuckled. Since, we have noticed he is getting tougher, 3) There were two nights in a row where both kids slept straight through from 8 pm to 7 am. I was so caught off guard the first time that I tried to put Sophia back to sleep. Korri came in and said, "It's 7:15, she's probably ready to get up." 4) Sophia is off all medicine, but then we noticed today that she has a bit of a diaper rash. Nothing big. 5) Sidota said Jesus for the first time when Korri was singing him to sleep at night.
As brother and sister, they continue to get closer. Sid shares better, reacts better to her playing around him, and even gives her a kiss and hug goodnight.
Sophia isn't exhibiting hardly and banging her head anymore, and the scratching is almost all gone.
Again, I can't say enough how much your prayers have meant, we believe, in how well things have gone. We feel so blessed to have these kids in our life.
Finally, we got a chance to see many of the people in our Idaho family today at the half marathon. It was great to get to be with you and your families, even if just for a short time, and some of you were sweaty and possibly smelly.
