The McCall Trip

We spent a few days at the Cornerstone condo up in McCall. Korri wanted to go on a hike, and Scott felt it would be a great idea to ride our bikes to the trailhead. The directions in the guidebook were a bit unclear, and the trip ended up being much longer and arduous than planned. We biked over 10 miles on the way there (about 6 uphill on gravel) for nealy 1 hour 40 minutes, and the trip down was another 9 miles and anogther hour on the bikes. The hike was only 4 miles round trip. From town to Louie Lake, it was about a 2000 ft. change in elevation. We biked/hiked 24 miles and it took about 5 hours. We didn't touch the bikes the rest of the time, and whatever was left of that day was spent on the couch.
