Last week we got in our last 'last vacation'. Korri went to Portland and Eugene to visit one of her best friends Ruth and her Grandma Kinney. Then she made it down to her parent's place in Siletz. Scott finished up playing in a tennis tournament over the weekend, and then decided he just had to be near his wife. He flew in to Portland, bused to Albany, and got a ride from Korri back to Siletz. She was pleasantly surprised. We had a great time hanging out watching Olympics, picking possibly millions of blue and blackberries, and making fun of Jerry for falling asleep on the couch watching TV.
Today we both went back to school to start teacher meetings before the students come back. Scott has kids by Wednesday, where Korri's don't show until Monday. We each will only be there for a few days and then it's wheels up for Ethiopia.
