Alright, some of the things you'll see on today's episode. More pictures today than usual of Sophia. As she gets more healthy, her personality comes out more often. We've noticed she seems to have an almost alarming excitement for Cheerios arriving at the table. I tried to capture it, but couldn't do it justice. There's also a picture showing how she attacks a glass of milk. Then there are just some various shots of her around the house. Sid helped mow a lawn for the first time, then had his first run in the sprinklers. Not yet done, he got adventurous and took a dip in our little pond in the back yard. Sophia also helped mom vacuum, a first for her. The kids had their first corn on the cob tonight, which Sophia ended up throwing on the floor. Surprise, Sid liked it. As a side note, a huge thanks to all who have brought us food, we, and especially Sidota, have enjoyed all of them. Also in the mix of photos is a picture of a first for me that Korri made me put in. Because of a student's letter, I was given a teacher of the year award by Sam's Club/WalMart. I get $1000 to spend in my classroom, and $100 to spend on myself. I was honored that a kid took time to write a letter telling people he enjoyed my class. Also, you see Sophia in her maiden voyage in her new baby backpack that we picked up on Craigslist for 5 bucks! It will definitely make our daily walks easier. And the picture of the shoes...well that's just me being proud of Sid for already having picked up on some of my neat-freakiness.
